Ready to lose your belly fat and get rid of your love handles once and for all? Here are 3 simple ways (that you won’t hear anyone else teaching) to lose your belly fat and they are the same principles I followed myself.
Here’s a short quiz to help you discover YOUR muscle fiber type so that you can lose belly fat and rebuild your metabolism so that you can have cheat meals that help you lose belly fat:
I get where Vince Del Monte is coming from with this video. He’s talking about a diet strategy instead of a diet, and rebuilding your metabolism.
Now in my journey of fatloss and body transformation as an endomorph, I’ve noticed that metabolic training really does it for me. Also, I noticed that the less of a break I take in-between exercises, the better I feel. This led me to experiment more with H.I.I.T (High intensity Interval Training). I started with H.I.I.T. with my body weight only, but now I’ve included weights into the mix, creating my own hybridized workout. This seems to work like gangbusters for me.
One other thing Vince mentions in his video is fueling your body before a workout. In another video, he talks about the importance of glucose from carbohydrates to fuel the muscles for maximum contraction.
Before listening to Vince, I was doing fasted workouts on a morning, powered by bullet-proof coffee. But after listening to Vince, I decided to add a scoop of MuscleMilk protein powder to my bulletproof coffee. Here are my observations:
- Working out with only bullet-proof coffee as a pre-workout, honestly, the workouts were hard, and there wasn’t much excitement. I got exhausted pretty easily, and after my workout, I notice I would be super tired. Sure I would burn fat, but my muscles looked deflated post workout.
- Adding a scoop or two of muscle milk protein powder to the bullet-proof coffee gave me more of a kick to my workouts. I was more explosive, and my mood was better. I know it’s the carb content, which triggers the production of serotonin in the brain.
Right now I’m investigating the connection between high levels of the stress hormone cortisol, and belly fat. I’m listening to Eric Berg’s video entitled “Adrenal Body Type, Cortisol & Belly Fat!”
I’ll be adding my commentary on that video in another blog post. Stay Tuned!
